Soccer Without Borders Uganda Program Coordinator Jules Mayele is featured on Goal Click, a project that allows people from all over the world to share what football means to them — in their own words and through their own photos. Goal Click presents its Refugee series in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and its charity partner, Common Goal.
A refugee from Democratic Republic of Congo, Jules has been living in Uganda since 2011. He joined Soccer Without Borders in March 2011 and soon became a volunteer coach and English instructor before joining the staff full time in 2013. Visit the Goal Click site to see Jules’ photography and read his story in his own words. (LINK)
