Soccer Without Borders Announces TCS New York City Marathon Team

Soccer Without Borders (SWB) is excited to announce the 14 members of our 2021 TCS New York City Marathon team. This is the largest team SWB has ever assembled for the 50th running of the storied race, after a one-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Team SWB runners will be among a smaller race field of 33,000 who will wind their way through all five boroughs on Sunday Nov 7, 2021.

“This group of runners has shown so much dedication to Soccer Without Borders and their enthusiasm is contagious,” said Dara Ely, Director of Communications and marathon manager. “We can’t thank them enough for their efforts, not only training to run 26.2 miles, but for their fundraising. Collectively they’ve already raised almost $30,000 for SWB.”

The TCS New York City Marathon is a major fundraising event for Soccer Without Borders and the runners can choose to support a specific SWB hub or all programs. Meet Team SWB:
