We are thrilled to announce the return of former Team Leader Jenn Bell to the Soccer Without Borders' team. Jenn joins the SWB National Office in Cambridge, MA as the Program Development Manager, overseeing the International Team Leader program and camps, coordinating SWB training programs throughout the year, and supporting staff development.
More than three-quarters of full-time Soccer Without Borders' staff members first served in significant volunteer roles. As a Team Leader, Jenn lived and worked at SWB Nicaragua from June 2013-June 2014, coaching, teaching, and supporting the program's growth. Returning to the U.S. in summer of 2014, Jenn worked in healthcare in Massachusetts before earning a position in the first-ever class of Global Giving Fellows in Washington DC. At Global Giving, Jenn supported hundreds of non-profit programs around the world to maximize their potential through funding, communication, and measurement resources.
Originally from the Greater Boston area, the move is a move home. She shared, "In my time since serving as a Team Leader in Nicaragua, I've loved staying connected to SWB. I look forward to supporting and working with each of SWB's programs as well as getting to know all of our incredible staff and participants!"
