We are excited to announce the addition of Kim Herrig to the Soccer Without Borders team as Director of Operations. Kim is no stranger to SWB, as she has served as a consultant since 2013, supporting the upgrade and redesign of organizational infrastructure during a critical period of rapid growth. As Director of Operations, Kim will continue to to ensure that SWB systems are efficient, effective, and future-focused. She joins the SWB team after four years at MetroLacrosse where she served as Managing Director, overseeing program delivery as well as the finance and operations functions.
Prior to her time leading sports-based youth development organizations, Kim put her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) to work in the field of construction and project management, most recently as the Business and Operations Manager for Northeast Electrical and Mechanical Services.
Out on the playing field, Kim was a football star in another realm: American tackle and flag football. She serves as the head referee for the FLAG Flag Football League, was previously the Commissioner for the Boston Women's Flag Football league and is the former captain of the New England Intensity. As an undergraduate at Hamilton College, she played Varsity Basketball while earning her degree in Sociology.
Please join us in welcoming Kim Herrig to the Soccer Without Borders team at the national office in Cambridge, MA!
