We are proud to announce that the Tiyya Foundation will honor Soccer Without Borders with a community partner award on March 14. Soccer Without Borders and Tiyya began our partnership in 2011 with the launch of a soccer camp for refugee youth in the Los Angeles area. The program, formerly known as SWB LA, continued to offer camps and clinics over the next three years as a complement to the many services provided by Tiyya to refugee families in the region.
In July 2014, SWB LA transitioned fully under the umbrella of the Tiyya Foundation, where soccer is one of many incredible supports offered to refugee youth. On March 14, Tiyya will host its annual fundraiser soccer tournament, and present SWB with this award. Please join us in supporting the great work of the Tiyya Foundation!
